Assignment 3 is live. It follows a CTF format. The CTF platform is on this site.

You need to create a team account on the CTF platform. Please use your full name (as in the class register) for the team name, and make sure you keep the same format (SURNAME Firstname).

We will provide 5 challenges for 1000 points. Each challenge is worth 200 points and there are also 2 bonus challenges. For remote exploit tasks the flag is located in /home/ctf/flag. The flag is in the format CNS_CTF{some_random_string}.

You will solve challenges, submit flags and create a zip archive with a README, scripts and other support files for each challenge. You will submit the zip archive on the curs.upb.ro form for Assignment 3.

The remote ip addresses listed in the challenge descriptions are not up yet, but they will be in a few days. In the meantime, you can solve the challenges locally on your machine, or solve challenges that don't have a remote part ("call me" and "multiseed").
